Destination Karlskrona AB is a newly established wholly owned municipal company responsible for developing and marketing Karlskrona as an attractive destination for residents and visitors. The company works with a broad portfolio of services within destination development and marketing.

The company's business areas are events and meetings, marketing and communication, partnerships and relations, Visitor Services (tourist office), Cruise Karlskrona, film node, destination and attraction development, as well as operation and development of the business at Drottningskärs Kastell.

We are now looking for staff to strengthen our workforce on an hourly basis as needed, which may include work within visitor services (Tourist Center), Cruise Karlskrona, or operational staff at events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Represent Karlskrona as an attractive place to our visitors.
• Provide hospitality and service.
• Answer inquiries via email, phone, or in direct customer relations.
• Work within other business areas based on your profile and skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• An outgoing personality that values hospitality and service.
• Ability to communicate well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Experience in managing customer relations.
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Good ability to work independently and in a team towards set goals.

As a person, you are solution-focused, self-driven, and responsible, but also a pronounced team player. You are also unpretentious and enjoy building relationships with others. You are not afraid of a challenge.

Desirable qualities

It is an advantage if you speak Polish and German. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
